‘Enders Game’ Comic Book!
It looks like Orson Scott Card’s ‘Enders Game’ is going to Comic Book form! I myself am still waiting for the movie, but a comic book will have to do for now. I guess they are still trying to figure out how to make the movie. Or maybe they are putting out a comic book because comic book are finding huge success at the movie theater box office. Is it all part of a plan to refresh the ‘Ender Game’ story before it hits theaters several years from now? Who knows But here is some art from the comic book. I hope Orson Scott Card approves of the art and the story stays true. I would really like to see this adapted for screen! It would be really hard, but great if done right!
I agree that the art looks terrible. You can be a great writer and still not have a clue when it comes to art and design. I would love to see a movie for Enders game! I have been waiting for years! The technology is there now to make it happen. its only a matter of time.
I would also love to see an Ender’s Game/Ender’s Shadow movie, but I have no confidence in the movie industry when it comes to science fiction movies based on books (i.e. Starship Troopers). The comic book is a good idea to see how well they can come up with a visual representation of Orson’s ideas. I think the comic will definitely give us an idea of how successful a movie adaptation would be. For those of us who are died-hard fans, I’m sure we all feel both excitement and mounting dread. For me, I just hope they don’t forget how important Bean is.
i just read it. it sucks. buggers are formics now; looking like big robots. wtf. ive been a fan of ender’s game for 20 years; i can’t believe this adaptation. i’m glad the movie never came out. there is no inner dialogue, the art is mediocre, horrible concept, industrial, sci-fi, costumes and character design. last thing - ender’s got a bowler hair-cut. ‘nuf said.
