Jon Favreau currently Working on ‘Iron Man 2′

Venkman here with a quick tid bit of news for all you geeks out there Jon Favreau recently did an interview with LA Times to talk about Filmmakers getting tax breaks for filming in California so studios will keep the buisness local to get the economy up. He has teamed up with Gov. Schwartzenegger to help the cause.

Back to Iron Man! Here is what the article had to say:

I just talked to Jon Favreau a bit ago, and he said that while there hasn’t been an formal announcement on the sequel to “Iron Man,” he’s begun developing it. “We’re working on it now,” he said, “which hasn’t been officially announced. It will be released in 2010.”

So Marvel and Favreau are currently developing ‘Iron Man 2′ for everybody. It is good to hear this news after all they drama went down. We knew they would work things out and they did, but to hear that they are now working on putting the film together is just awesome. They are probably in the middle of hammering out the script and some concept art. Here’s a question. Will he beef up his own role in the sequel?

    Nice,

Finally the death of the crappy cartoony comic book movies is evident. Comics are serious stuff.

I agree rick, It’s about time people actually realize that Comics are serious. It took them long enough.
