THE FANTASTIC FOUR: FIRST STEPS Finally Gets Its Disney+ Premiere Date
Marvel fans, it’s almost time to welcome Marvel’s First Family home. Marvel Studios has officially announced when The Fantastic Four: First Steps will begin streaming on Disney+, and it’s arriving sooner than expected.
The long-awaited MCU reboot will start streaming on November 5th. The film originally hit theaters on July 25, earning $521.9 million at the global box office. After its Digital and physical media releases, First Steps is ready to make its streaming debut, and it’s coming with a visual upgrade.
The movie will also be available in IMAX Enhanced, offering fans the option to view the movie in IMAX’s expanded aspect ratio. According to Disney+, this feature “ensures that the filmmakers’ creative intent is fully preserved for a more immersive viewing experience at home.”
It’s explained: “Subscribers with certified TVs and AV receivers can also experience IMAX Enhanced sound powered by DTS:X.” So if you’ve got the right setup, The Fantastic Four: First Steps is going to look and sound incredible on your living room screen.
As for what’s next, the team won’t be gone for long. Marvel’s First Family is set to return in Avengers: Doomsday next December, and while details are still under wraps, they’re also rumored to play a key role in Avengers: Secret Wars.
After that, it’s anyone’s guess where the Fantastic Four will pop up next, but it’s safe to say they’ll be standing shoulder to shoulder with the Avengers and X-Men in whatever massive event the MCU has brewing.
