Trailer for Allison Williams and Dave Franco's REGRETTING YOU Teases an Emotional Ride

Paramount Pictures has released the first trailer for Regretting You, and it looks like fans of Colleen Hoover are in for another emotional rollercoaster.

Following the massive success of It Ends With Us, this latest adaptation brings another one of Hoover's bestselling novels to life, diving deep into the tangled dynamics of grief, love, and the complexities of a mother-daughter relationship.

The story centers on Morgan Grant, played by Allison Williams, a young mother struggling to navigate her relationship with her 16-year-old daughter Clara, played by Mckenna Grace, after the tragic death of her husband Chris, portrayed by Scott Eastwood.

The emotional stakes rise when Morgan finds herself connecting with Jonah, played by Dave Franco, her late husband's best friend and her unexpected new love interest.

Also joining the cast are Mason Thames, Willa Fitzgerald, and Clancy Brown, rounding out a strong ensemble that looks ready to pull on some heartstrings.

The film is directed by Josh Boone, best known for The Fault in Our Stars, with a screenplay from Susan McMartin (After). It was produced by Robert Kulzer for Constantin Film, alongside Flavia Viotti, Brunson Green of Harbinger Pictures, and Anna Todd of Frayed Pages Media. Hoover herself serves as executive producer, joined by Williams, Franco, and Grace.

Following It Ends With Us, which crushed the global box office with a staggering $350 million take, Regretting You is expected to draw in fans craving more from Hoover's universe of heartfelt drama. And this isn’t the end of it. Hoover's Verity is already on deck for a May 2026 release from Amazon MGM Studios, with Dakota Johnson, Anne Hathaway, and Josh Hartnett starring in the dark psychological thriller.

Regretting You hits theaters October 24, and if the trailer is any indication, audiences should prepare for an intense, emotional ride filled with powerful performances and layered storytelling.
